Indonesian calls it Bandeng Bakar Tanpa Duri. Our Filipino’s customers are perhaps more familiar with Bangus. Milkfish is famous for it’s tender and juicy meat. However, the tiny bones turn off many people. At Ayam Penyet President, our milkfish have their bones removed!
Sambal belacan consists of chilies, belacan (shrimp paste), calamansi lime (limau kasturi), salt and sugar. Sambal belacan as a condiment is something that I can’t do without! Spiciness, delightfulness and savory mixed together to be something that never enough!
